Cinemation Studios is an entertainment production company founded by Andre Gaines to finance and produce films and television series for the US and international markets. The company specializes in adaptations of high-concept books and graphics novels, remakes of foreign films and formats, and non-fiction feature films and television series. Cinemation currently has projects set up with STUDIOCANAL, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, NBC and CNN, and is in regular production on multiple independent films.
Cinemation works with creatives to produce the best content for film, television and any other medium to reach audiences both domestically and abroad. Our current slate of announced projects include Andre Gaines’ The One and Only Dick Gregory, which made it’s world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Juneteenth 2021 and on Showtime on July 4, 2021; The Lady and the Dale, produced with the Duplass Brothers on HBO; the remake of Stephen King’s Children of the Corn; Red Rising at Netflix; Buzzed directed by Marc Forster and starring Jeremy Renner and Keira Knightley; Killing Gawker written by Academy Award winner Charles Randolph and directed by Seth Gordon; and Timecrimes written by Academy Award winner Steve Zaillian.
